Extension is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Franklin, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities
Lead new product development, focusing on manufacturing feasibility, process flow, equipment design, validation, and cost evaluations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, propose capital improvements, and implement cost-saving methods and line balance optimizations.
Develop component specifications, support equipment improvements, and provide training to production and technical teams.
Support capital expenditure projects, including design, budgeting, and implementation, while resolving manufacturing engineering issues.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or process engineering
5+ years of relevant experience
Proven experience leading and facilitating Continuous Improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Skilled in project management, problem-solving (8D, Six Sigma, DOE, SPC), and lean manufacturing (5S, PDCA, visual management).
Experience in OTC or FDA-controlled environments, with hands-on knowledge of blending, filling, packaging, and automated equipment.
Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and program modification; hands-on fabrication skills a plus.
Salary Information
$95K - $115K
